Give me kisses
Feb. 6th, 2006 12:49 pmIt's my birthday on Wednesday, and I've left it a bit late to announce one of them birthday challenge things. But I thought I'd do something based on
pearl_o's 5 kisses idea: write Louise a kiss for her birthday. If you want to.
Yay!
It doesn't even need to be a nice kiss. It could be angry, or angsty. Or dirty, or whatever. Just, you know, all kisses are good. And gratefully received. :D eta: preferred fandoms are Saiyuki, House, Wild Adapter, Samurai Champloo and Antique Bakery (for the two people on flist who are reading it) and pairings, well, I'll leave that up to you. Demented crossovers are encouraged. It can be as short or long as you like.
and some memes -
IP logging is off, anonymous posting is on. So hit me. Something you always wanted to say to me or ask me but were too afraid/polite to do so? Now is the time to do it.
You know you're reading a fic by Louise when
1. there is lots of meaningful eye contact
2. it will probably either be set in a domestic environment or on a road
3. at some point there will be a description of water, in some form
4. and descriptions of light and colours
5. and sounds, especially breathing
6. there will often be lots of silences and awkward pauses in conversation
7. if it's not sweetness and all things cute it will be sex
8. if it's neither of those things it will probably involve madness and death.
9. or angst
10. smiles are very important

Date: 2006-02-06 05:24 pm (UTC)This time was slightly different, though, as Goku stared out of the same window, right beside Sanzo. Their knees were touching and Goku decided that he would risk Sanzo's irrational anger this time.
"Sanzo." There was no reply. "Sanzo." Goku reached forward to poke at Sanzo's shoulder.
Nothing.
He waved his hand in front of Sanzo's face and Sanzo swatted his hand away, shooting a short glare in Goku's direction. Goku was pretty sure that Sanzo muttered something, but it was too soft to make out. Poking again rhythmically at Sanzo's shoulder, he chanted his name in time until Sanzo exploded, attention solely on Goku.
With a smile, he slid off of the windowsill and stood close to Sanzo's side. He leaned forward, dropping a quick kiss to Sanzo's temple.
"You do real good, you know?" Goku grinned. "You're the best. Like a fresh meatbun, still warm from the steamer. Awesome!"
Goku scampered off in search of food, having made himself hungry. As he was leaving the room, he was sure he heard a fondly muttered "stupid monkey" from Sanzo. Suddenly, the day seemed much brighter.
Perhaps he had found a way to stave off the rain.
^_^
And, a question: What is your number one dream? What is it that you must accomplish/experience/whatever before you leave this world? Even if it is something you can fesibly do or if it is something that is not practical. What is it?
Happy up-coming Birthday! ~_^

That is just 100% adorable, as is Goku chanting Sanzo's name until he finally makes him burst a blood vessel. As it all is! Thank you :D
Hmm, my number one dream? At the moment it's to be a succesful writer and to be able to do nothing else. Apart from travel. I haven't done enough of that and I want to see so many places.

Date: 2006-02-07 01:05 am (UTC)...I need a break from paper writing. And it was this or an inexplicable Saiyuki-Antique Bakery crossover. Which I still might do because Sanzo really is Ono's type and he does have that special ability. I mean. Anyway.

Hakkai turned around from doing the dishes and happened to see the window. It was snowing outside, thick and violent, the wind whipping the snow in the air until it looks like a haze of white rage. It was windy, he remembered, and it had been cold, but it hadn't snowed all month and he was left with a vague uncomfortable feeling, as if the snow had somehow snuck up on them, attacked while his back was turned.
Which really was silly; it was snow, after all.
He dismissed the feeling and returned to the dishes. The air in their house was cool and the water was yet warm, a contrast that was pleasant in its mild dissonance. He smiled faintly as he finished the last plate and drained the sink.
Gojyo was late, but this was no surprise -- Gojyo was usually late. He made coffee -- it helped warm himself, at least, if not the air -- and picked up a book.
He was a good hundred new pages into it when the door banged open, sending a sharp cool breeze through, and Gojyo -- poor shirtless, coat-wearing Gojyo -- stomped in, his breath forming clouds on the air. "Hakkai! It's freezing out there. Have you even--"
"Shut the door, please."
Gojyo shot the door. "--seen it come down like this?"
"Well, yes--" Hakkai began, rising and going over. Gojyo was struggling out of his coat and looked like he could use a hand; his own were clearly frozen.
"It just came out of nowhere. You think it's supposed to start small, a few flakes here and there, but shit, I was in the bar and just looked and -- it was snowing away merrily like it had been there all along."
"It was the same way for me," Hakkai said, stripping Gojyo. Gojyo's skin was icy to the touch, lightly textured with goosebumps. His palm brushed a nipple as he slid Gojyo's coat off.
"--Thanks. You too, huh? I thought I might have missed the beginning or something, but--"
"If you did, we both did," Hakkai said, and then made a noise in the back of his throat as Gojyo tugged him in. "...Ah, Gojyo, what are you."
"Shut up, you're warm. Be a friend and let me have this," Gojyo said, shivering as he pressed himself against Hakkai.
Hakkai stayed still and let the chill seep into him as Gojyo slowly relaxed. "Ah," he said, twisting to look at Gojyo's face. "There's --" There was snow clinging tenaciously to the stubble on Gojyo's upper lip. He raised a hand to brush it off, slid the hand farther back, into his hair, shaking it until the cold droplets spattered to the floor--
And he wasn't even sure who started the kiss, just suddenly aware of lips on his and a tongue in his mouth and himself kissing back, catching his breath in sharp hitches between the meetings of their lips --
When it broke, Gojyo stared at him with a look almost like resignation, and Hakkai smiled.

That's absolutely gorgeous - thank you so much! I love the way Gojyo asks to get warm, and then his look of almost resignation. Yeah - you knew it had to happen sooner or later, Gojyo. Hee. Marvellous.

Date: 2006-02-07 01:49 am (UTC)It is solid and good-humored and well-shaped. Nothing comes from it but good sense, common sense, red clay's salt. There is no malice, even for enemies, no twistedness even in lust, no sneer in triumph.
It is wide and kind and calm and solid and strong and selfish, selfish, selfish.
It will only kiss Kou's hand.

Date: 2006-02-09 01:03 am (UTC)My concept of writing (hey, it works for me) is that prose is for stories and poems are for concepts, and drabbles are close enough for both to give a person a choice. So as long as you don't try for a plot, you can really work 'em! :D
Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoyed. Happy birthday!

The One that Never Got Away
Sometimes Yusuke Ono closes his eyes and pretends. Not often, but just once in a while, when the lights are low enough and the hair and perhaps a glimpse of the profile is the same. That was always the way it was, he remembers; a glimpse of a face from the side that seemed to draw, at once confident and yet so oddly shuttered and vulnerable it made something in his chest ache. He doesn't remember ever seeing him smile – he no doubt did - but he remembers how he’d stare at his profile in class, at the sharp cut of his cheekbones and the softer curve of his jaw, at the nape of his neck where his hair brushed his collar, at his lips as he spoke, and the thin line of his mouth when he was silent. Back then, he never knew what he wanted, not really. Back then, he'd stare and fantasise, and in his fantasy, everything was perfect. He'd say; I like you, and the other would smile, like the warm sun on a cloudy day, and take his hand and then everything would be alright. Forever.
Sometimes, just sometimes, Yusuke Ono pretends that such a thing is possible in the world, that the one thing he ever wanted wants him back, and that makes so many things different, makes him different, and he can't even imagine who he would be right now if fantasy had actually become reality, that day he worked up his courage. He wouldn’t be here, certainly, wouldn't be up against a bathroom wall with this fine young man with the sweep of black hair that reminds him, wouldn't have his hand in his pants, his fingers around his thick cock, wouldn't be gasping into his uniform collar as the young man returns the favour. He wouldn't be half closing his eyes to better see, as the boy bends his head to fix his mouth on Ono's shoulder, teeth sinking into shirt, the metal of the thin silver chain he's wearing, skin, muscle.
He wouldn't be wondering, as he sometimes does, if it would be this good, or even better. They all want him, and it's long ceased being surprising. All he has to do is think in their direction and they’re hard for him. But maybe that's why he can’t help it, can't help wondering occasionally what happened to him, where he is, can't help wondering whether if he was here now, groaning his name against his throat like this, would it sound just the same. Maybe that's why, occasionally, he pretends, why sometimes he finds someone like this, that reminds him of brittle, sunny afternoons staring across a classroom; because he can only ever pretend. He'll never know, but he never stopped wondering.
The boy shudders against him. They're both so close and it feels almost like Heaven. The curve of jaw line in his peripheral is closer though, so almost, the crisp smell of his uniform above the musk of their bodies, the way his hair feels at the back of his neck as it brushes his collar, the corner of his mouth as he pants into the swell of his orgasm. Ono pulls back a little, his head knocking against the bathroom wall, and closes his eyes to complete the image.
"Kiss me," he breathes and there is a stutter to the boy's rhythm for a half a second.
"Really? Can I?"
Ono smiles faintly at the eager, breathless question.
"Yes," he sighs, and even more softly; "Tachibana."
The name is swallowed in the boy's mouth, young and sweet and firm, sinuous tongue filling him as he comes, and for a bright, perfect instant, Ono no longer pretends.

I still have my hopes for Tachibana and Ono - the only man resistant to Ono's demonic gay charm! This is just so lovely.
He wouldn't be half closing his eyes to better see,
Perfect - because somehow that is how Ono operates. He knows he's shallow and that there's something better he could have, but he just doesn't do anything to get it. Thank you so much for this.

Yes, and for some reason that's always given me a bit of a Gojyo-vibe, like
life's too easyhe has this underlying belief he's not good enough for love maybe because Tachibana rejected him so violently...Ah, roll on March and with it, Volume 3!! Have you, by the way, read every other single thing of Yoshinaga Fum's that ever was scanlated? If not, I can pimp! They are all heart-achingly brilliant and strongly recommended...

bump that # up to 3 ~ Antique Bakery drabble^^
Date: 2006-02-07 08:51 am (UTC)Outside the downpour continued. The lack of customers on top of Kanda's presence in France and Tachibana's delivery run had left the store quiet.
Ono didn't quite know how the conversation had started, perhaps it was the rain.
As it was, Chikage had his hand on Ono's cheek, nervous and waiting.
That time, could you really have pushed me down and kissed me?
"You've kissed Waka," Chikage said. As if it meant something to their situation.
"Well, then;" Ono flashed his devilish smile. "It's only fair," and touched his lips to Chikage's.
Somewhere outside, Tachibana pulled up to a curb.

Date: 2006-02-08 02:18 pm (UTC)“Gimme your face,” said the goddess and grabbed him, silencing his outraged screams of protest. Sweet smell of her lips made his breath catch painfully, and the light danced before his eyes like a whirlwind of cherry petals. She drank from him, deeper and deeper, draining him dry; her cock was huge and hard under the slippery silk. Last thing he saw before succumbing to a dizzy spell was Hakkai’s pale face, eyes huge and shocked, lips pursed tightly.
Later Hakkai declared that Gojyo needed to replenish his strength and sat him down to a five-course meal that he made monkey-proof by borrowing Sanzo’s fan. As Gojyo chomped down on countless spring rolls, Hakkai kept staring at his mouth, making him feel downright awkward.
“Do you want some?” asked Gojyo after a while, pushing the plate toward him.
“Not right now,” he answered.

That woke him. Gojyo pulled his abused finger away from sharp teeth and at the same time fixed his still foggy glare on the offending creature previously playing with his hand.
Not a dragon, even if it's smile masked dangerous concealed powers.
»Hakkai?! What was that about?!«
He only got a smile in return. A smile that would send any sensible being running for nearest hill. Gojyo was never all that rational. Combined with Hakkai's extremely convincing techniques he woke up next morning with more than one bite mark, several bruises and a pleasant soreness that spread through all of his body. What a great way to wake up. Then Hakkai begun to kiss his right hand.
