It's my birthday on Wednesday, and I've left it a bit late to announce one of them birthday challenge things. But I thought I'd do something based on [livejournal.com profile] pearl_o's 5 kisses idea: write Louise a kiss for her birthday. If you want to.

Yay!

It doesn't even need to be a nice kiss. It could be angry, or angsty. Or dirty, or whatever. Just, you know, all kisses are good. And gratefully received. :D eta: preferred fandoms are Saiyuki, House, Wild Adapter, Samurai Champloo and Antique Bakery (for the two people on flist who are reading it) and pairings, well, I'll leave that up to you. Demented crossovers are encouraged. It can be as short or long as you like.

and some memes -

IP logging is off, anonymous posting is on. So hit me. Something you always wanted to say to me or ask me but were too afraid/polite to do so? Now is the time to do it.

You know you're reading a fic by Louise when

1. there is lots of meaningful eye contact
2. it will probably either be set in a domestic environment or on a road
3. at some point there will be a description of water, in some form
4. and descriptions of light and colours
5. and sounds, especially breathing
6. there will often be lots of silences and awkward pauses in conversation
7. if it's not sweetness and all things cute it will be sex
8. if it's neither of those things it will probably involve madness and death.
9. or angst
10. smiles are very important

Just - how do you get so much into something so short? I love it. And I love how you turned the challenge on its head too, with that kick at the end. It's painful, but in the best way.

I'm just happy I was able to think of something for you! I never enter challenges because they never spark anything--but it worked this time. ^,^ Probably because I saw it ten minutes before I had to go to work; short deadlines+adrenaline are the good.

My concept of writing (hey, it works for me) is that prose is for stories and poems are for concepts, and drabbles are close enough for both to give a person a choice. So as long as you don't try for a plot, you can really work 'em! :D

Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoyed. Happy birthday!
