Give me kisses
Feb. 6th, 2006 12:49 pmIt's my birthday on Wednesday, and I've left it a bit late to announce one of them birthday challenge things. But I thought I'd do something based on
pearl_o's 5 kisses idea: write Louise a kiss for her birthday. If you want to.
Yay!
It doesn't even need to be a nice kiss. It could be angry, or angsty. Or dirty, or whatever. Just, you know, all kisses are good. And gratefully received. :D eta: preferred fandoms are Saiyuki, House, Wild Adapter, Samurai Champloo and Antique Bakery (for the two people on flist who are reading it) and pairings, well, I'll leave that up to you. Demented crossovers are encouraged. It can be as short or long as you like.
and some memes -
IP logging is off, anonymous posting is on. So hit me. Something you always wanted to say to me or ask me but were too afraid/polite to do so? Now is the time to do it.
You know you're reading a fic by Louise when
1. there is lots of meaningful eye contact
2. it will probably either be set in a domestic environment or on a road
3. at some point there will be a description of water, in some form
4. and descriptions of light and colours
5. and sounds, especially breathing
6. there will often be lots of silences and awkward pauses in conversation
7. if it's not sweetness and all things cute it will be sex
8. if it's neither of those things it will probably involve madness and death.
9. or angst
10. smiles are very important

The One that Never Got Away
Sometimes Yusuke Ono closes his eyes and pretends. Not often, but just once in a while, when the lights are low enough and the hair and perhaps a glimpse of the profile is the same. That was always the way it was, he remembers; a glimpse of a face from the side that seemed to draw, at once confident and yet so oddly shuttered and vulnerable it made something in his chest ache. He doesn't remember ever seeing him smile – he no doubt did - but he remembers how he’d stare at his profile in class, at the sharp cut of his cheekbones and the softer curve of his jaw, at the nape of his neck where his hair brushed his collar, at his lips as he spoke, and the thin line of his mouth when he was silent. Back then, he never knew what he wanted, not really. Back then, he'd stare and fantasise, and in his fantasy, everything was perfect. He'd say; I like you, and the other would smile, like the warm sun on a cloudy day, and take his hand and then everything would be alright. Forever.
Sometimes, just sometimes, Yusuke Ono pretends that such a thing is possible in the world, that the one thing he ever wanted wants him back, and that makes so many things different, makes him different, and he can't even imagine who he would be right now if fantasy had actually become reality, that day he worked up his courage. He wouldn’t be here, certainly, wouldn't be up against a bathroom wall with this fine young man with the sweep of black hair that reminds him, wouldn't have his hand in his pants, his fingers around his thick cock, wouldn't be gasping into his uniform collar as the young man returns the favour. He wouldn't be half closing his eyes to better see, as the boy bends his head to fix his mouth on Ono's shoulder, teeth sinking into shirt, the metal of the thin silver chain he's wearing, skin, muscle.
He wouldn't be wondering, as he sometimes does, if it would be this good, or even better. They all want him, and it's long ceased being surprising. All he has to do is think in their direction and they’re hard for him. But maybe that's why he can’t help it, can't help wondering occasionally what happened to him, where he is, can't help wondering whether if he was here now, groaning his name against his throat like this, would it sound just the same. Maybe that's why, occasionally, he pretends, why sometimes he finds someone like this, that reminds him of brittle, sunny afternoons staring across a classroom; because he can only ever pretend. He'll never know, but he never stopped wondering.
The boy shudders against him. They're both so close and it feels almost like Heaven. The curve of jaw line in his peripheral is closer though, so almost, the crisp smell of his uniform above the musk of their bodies, the way his hair feels at the back of his neck as it brushes his collar, the corner of his mouth as he pants into the swell of his orgasm. Ono pulls back a little, his head knocking against the bathroom wall, and closes his eyes to complete the image.
"Kiss me," he breathes and there is a stutter to the boy's rhythm for a half a second.
"Really? Can I?"
Ono smiles faintly at the eager, breathless question.
"Yes," he sighs, and even more softly; "Tachibana."
The name is swallowed in the boy's mouth, young and sweet and firm, sinuous tongue filling him as he comes, and for a bright, perfect instant, Ono no longer pretends.

I still have my hopes for Tachibana and Ono - the only man resistant to Ono's demonic gay charm! This is just so lovely.
He wouldn't be half closing his eyes to better see,
Perfect - because somehow that is how Ono operates. He knows he's shallow and that there's something better he could have, but he just doesn't do anything to get it. Thank you so much for this.
Antique Bakery fic - wooo!

Date: 2006-02-07 11:22 am (UTC)Having the Japanese books, I'm not sure if I should or shouldn't respond to that... O_o But I'm very glad you liked it! I was gonna post it on your birthday, but I suck at waiting ^_^;
He knows he's shallow and that there's something better he could have
Yes, and for some reason that's always given me a bit of a Gojyo-vibe, like
life's too easyhe has this underlying belief he's not good enough for love maybe because Tachibana rejected him so violently...Ah, roll on March and with it, Volume 3!! Have you, by the way, read every other single thing of Yoshinaga Fum's that ever was scanlated? If not, I can pimp! They are all heart-achingly brilliant and strongly recommended...

I've read quit a loot of Gerard and Jaques, which is the thing that made me read Antique Bakery. I didn't know she's written other stuff besides that though. Pimp away. :D
