Is Sanzo a virgin?

I can see him having sex with a stranger, precisely because he'd never have to see them again or bother about trusting them. Although perhaps he might be tempted to hold a gun to their head the whole time. Alternatively, I can see teenage Sanzo during the Burial arc deciding he's absolutely never going to touch anyone like that ever, and that habit of thought sticking as he gets older because of the trauma, but also because it's just easier.

So, do you think he trusts Hakkai or Gojyo enough to have sex with them, really?

I really do see Sanzo as canonically being a virgin. I can sort of get the idea of him doing it with a stranger, but I think he really would have to trust the person he's with, at least a little bit. Sex in inevitably intimate and if you have problems letting people touch you and you generally trust people about as far as you can throw them, you're not going to want to do it. It would just be too hard and require too much trust and emotional energy. I can see Sanzo just not wanting to have to bother.

And yeah, I can also see Sanzo as a teenager being like OMG NO SEX EVAR, and then never bothering to change his mind, because yeah. Easier.

As for how much he trusts Hakkai and Gojyo, I don't know. He does trust them, with his life, if necessary. But sex is different. It would take a lot of time, I'm sure, and they'd have to be incredibly patient with him because I suspect it would take a long time for Sanzo to loosen up enough for either or them to enjoy it. Too much trouble for a one-night thing, but I suspect that if either of them were inclined to spend the time and energy helping Sanzo, he might trust them enough. Maybe. He'd be a huge bitch about it for a while, though. XD

I really love the idea of vrigin!Sanzo, probably because I do see him being naturally inclined that way. And yes, I do need to pick up my fic again. *eyes looming stack of WIPs*....at some point.
