I find it incredibly likely for Sanzo to have had bad not-reciprocated sex, and for it to happen either way. I agree though. If he'd had sex, then it was almost defintely bad sex. I think he'd be terrible at it and it might not even occur that he was supposed to be giving someone else pleasure, or even himself.
