Anyone fancy a game of Mornington Crescent?

Trondheim rules, but with the 1976 Bovington paradox, which I think we'll find adds quite a bit of excitement to the game!

I'll go first. I'm going to play, hmm: Colindale

I was reading Lyttelton's biography of Ashbury on the way to work this morning, so it was in my head. *g* I'd never have remembered otherwise.

Oh, of course. That's a wonderful biography of one of our most daring and exciting players! I've always loved the chapter on the Vladivostok years - an inspiration to us all, I think you'll agree.

Oh, definitely. I loved the anecdote of how he played with the Tsar and refused to let Alexander win!
