Trondheim rules, but with the 1976 Bovington paradox, which I think we'll find adds quite a bit of excitement to the game!

Aha, yes. I think you'll find that, while this is covered in the Hawkings paradoxical rule for beginners, it's actually only allowable on Fridays if there is a light drizzle.

You're quite right! I think though, considering it *is* under the Trondheim Rules, I might venture Great Portland Street. The left handed chicane is quite legal there.

I think you'll find that the variant is allowed under the Inverse Troxley-Banes Manouvre used in conjunction with the Aldus-Hawkings slide. This negates the light drizzle, especially when using the Frasure-Euston definition of "Friday". However, invoking this manouvre bans the player from selecting any American stations for the next 50.428 years.
