telophase's cool bits story generator, a truly awesome plot. I want to write this so much. Or, even better, make someone else write it for me. Or actually, come to think of it, I might even be writing this already.
The villain of this piece is a darkly Byronic anti-hero, while the hero is a misunderstood loner. The plot begins with a bloody but non-incapacitating injury in an abandoned monastery. The ending includes elements of sex in desperate and inappropriate situations and mind control.

In Heian Japan, a quiet, angsty shapeshifting boy and a cynical religious practitioner with a secretly soft heart struggle against the odds and encounter a misunderstanding, sweat dripping down someone's forehead, and a closed-off man of few words who has a thigh holster. The text is a sweeping epic with a sublime ending.
It's like a crossover of all my favourite fandoms :)
