Recently I have percieved a lack in my life - of gay ice skating AUs. *looks at emungere* What?

Ice skating costumes are exhilaratingly bad. I know because I've spent the last few days trawling online and googling 'male figure skaters', which I'm putting down to stress relief, and really you all need to see the one with the torn red mesh, one sleeve and multiple fuzzy arm bands.

That is all.

ETA: I lie. Half naked Johnny Weir, not particularly worksafe, and sadly he is not wearing the costume I mentioned above. That one needs more tracking down.

Many of the male skaters I used to know were also excessively gay.

Haha, the author of that book also wrote One Night Stand, the pornfest I nabbed from someone at YCon and couldn't stop laughing at on the plane home. It also led to a hilarious game of Eye of Argon at, appropriately enough, Meat Day. :D

Ha! Oh, meat day. He's got some terrible reviews for his other stuff, so I don't think I'll be buying. Although... gay ice skating porn! How can I resist?

Heheh, his stuff is awful, awful trash, but it's hilarious. I had to put my hand over my mouth (and keep the book very close to me XD) on the flight home, it was brilliant!

Eye of Argon is a game where you read out bad porn or fanfic, and if you laugh you pass it on to the next person. It was brilliant. Most of the guys were just too good at it, though, so we had to impose a limit! ...Then we got onto the silly voices. ^^' Next Squeefest, we'll have to play it! :D

You know that mosca writes actual figure skating RPS, right? With the aforementioned Johnny Weir and other characters (whose names I cannot remember, on account of I do not know from figure skating). I realize it's not the same as figure skating AUs, but if you're not squicked by RPS, it might help until the perfect Hakkai-on-ice story comes along.

Someone, possibly you or emungere, recently mentioned the idea of Sanzo in a sparkly bright purple and gold sequined ice-skating costume and I haven't been able to shake that visual ever since. I am also quite besotted with the idea of Hakkai as the scary hardcore trainer. Someone must write this immediately, this much is clear.
