So, why did night fall so quickly in that final scene?

Why did Wolverine kill Jean? Wasn't the area covered in those little darts with the anti-mutant stuff in them?

Why didn't someone take the mutant boy to Jean to stop her going crazy?

Why didn't Wolverine's trousers shred and fall off along with the rest of his clothes? Why???

Charles and Eric were doing it a lot back then, twenty years ago. Oops, that's not a question.

How come all the headlights on the cars on the bridge were on at the end, even though supposedly all the lowly humans had made a run for it earlier that day -- err, a few moments before -- when their lives were sort of in danger (oh except for that family that was trapped).

Also, am supporting you as to question 4. WHY????

Although the answers to these questions, and more, might have something to do with the sixteen different scriptwriters employed on the film ehem.

Yeah, and what happened to that family anyway? They had a lot of screen time for nothing much.
