So, why did night fall so quickly in that final scene?

Why did Wolverine kill Jean? Wasn't the area covered in those little darts with the anti-mutant stuff in them?

Why didn't someone take the mutant boy to Jean to stop her going crazy?

Why didn't Wolverine's trousers shred and fall off along with the rest of his clothes? Why???

Charles and Eric were doing it a lot back then, twenty years ago. Oops, that's not a question.

Because Magneto has a sense of the dramatic and timed it juuuuust right.

Because he is brawn and not brains. Brawn can kill; it takes brains to pick up a dart thing and stab someone with it, as Hank showed us.

Either (a) in case she disintegrated him before he got within range or (b) because they're dumb.

Also, did Magneto fling the car with the trapped family in it at the soldiers so that Pyro could make it explode? I think it would give a much deeper insight into his character if you knew for sure.

Did you stay for the bit after the credits? I didn't, but I hear it's very good.

Excuse me for butting in, but end of credits bit = Moira and vegetable boy from Xavier's class video earlier, where he was discussing using mutant powers to what lengths could be considered reasonable and what could be considered tyrranical? Well, Vege-kid WOKE UP and Moira said, "" and Vege-kid said, "" [highlight to spoil] ^^

Anbd he spoke in Charles's voice too, which could just have been laziness on the film makers part and not trusting the audience to twig, but it could also mean that somehow that is also Charles Xavier in the bed. Maybe he was twins? Cloned? Anything!

I think we're meant to conclude he transferred his consciousness right before he got nuked by psycho!Phoenix...

But the really wiggy thing was that someone behind me said, "AND THEY NEVER FOUND CYCLOPS' BODY, DID THEY!"

It would be a hideous crime to have Xavier look anything like Scott Summers... Y_Y

Ha! That would be baad. Also, didn't Xavier say that Scott was meant to take over the school?

Yeah, I got that about the conciousness switching. I was more thinking that there was another actual Charles Xavier body, waiting around helpfully in a hospital bed. But that's mostly becuse they had him use his voice-- oh, wait! Maybe vege kid didn't speak verbally, but in Moira's head? In which case ignore everything I just said. *g*
