While I'm here... aqua_eyes asked for a photo of something living that isn't me, and assume_a_virtue asked for a picture of an animal:





Tadpoles having a party - they are eating algae that's growing on the shell of the water snail.




A water snail taking in air, via the small hole you can see. There is a tadpole attached to the tip of its shell, chewing it.

The entire contents of my pond frighten me with their alien-ness. I can just about bear the tadpoles because they don't try and eat any other animals, onlyplants. So far.

Mr Chikage!! I love him so much. I might have to go and 'read' the doujinshi again.
