After reading the adventures of Goku and Nyoi-Bo, Goku retreated into his corner of the jeep, wide eyed and somewhat pale, even going so far as to refuse Hakkai's offer of an apple.

Gojyo had always suspected as much, frankly. He just hoped Sanzo cleaned the damn thing afterwards.

"It gets stupid," Gojyo said, but Goku, smelling blood, was already grabbing the book from Gojyo's hands.
"Hey, Hakkai-- what does 'premature ejaculation' mean?" Goku asked, frowning.
"Hey-- HEY!" Gojyo darted for the book, but Sanzo had already plucked it out of Goku's grasp.
"Well," Hakkai answered, "why don't we see if we can figure it out through context, eh, Goku?"
"'When he first set out from the place of his birth,'" Sanzo read aloud, with obvious relish, "'Sha Gojyo was an innocent young man, not knowledgable in the ways of the world...'"
