I hate MS Office with fiery passion. I'm just sayin'. My ex-lecturer, who I'm writing a paper with, remembered that this paper's got to be in by next Friday, but he's going to be on holiday all next week and he hasn't finished it. Gnarg. It needs all manner of wanky formatting, including *insert much dullness about jpegs, Excel charts, Word, Photoshop and headdesking*. Sigh. I did think this weekend might be quite relaxing, but now it look as though I'll have to prat around with this. Hopefully I can get the bulk of it done tomorrow and Saturday.

I'm so sorry...

I loathe, I repeat loathe Word with a passion I only reserve for people who underwrite tax reform initiatives. My work switched over to Windows NT, so of course they dumped WordPerfect, a lovely sleekit program, for Word, a waddling pile of fatware.

What's your fave word processing program?

Sadly, I've only ever used Word. I try at all times not to try and do anything to complicated with it. It's the randomness of it all that gets me - things go wrong and there's no way of telling why. Boo.

The first time Crowley heard about computers he ran to Aziraphale's bookshop, didn't bother to knock even though he knew how much the angel hated that and announced in a triumphant tone that his job had just become easier and wasn't Aziraphale interested in a holiday? because he, Crowley, will soon be able to afford a lot of slacking off.
Of course the technologically impaired angel became instantly suspicious, but there wasn't much he could do.
It wasn't for the lack of trying, though.

Crowley had been very pleased with Microsoft, and MS Office in particular. Aziraphale poked around the program, frowned, and suggested that maybe a little help was needed, to see the users through the needlessly complicated procedures.

The developer team came up with the Office Assistant.

It had been the angel's first and last foray into information technology.

He let Crowley have monopoly over it, and occasionally made him pay with disgustingly good deeds, especially if the demon had the nerve to mention "that little paperclip incident." Crowley still thought every last one of them was worth it.

Ahahaha!

It had been the angel's first and last foray into information technology.

Poor Aziraphale, saddled with the guilt of creating the Office Assistant. I'm sure Crowley thought it was worth it - even if he did have to pay with good deeds. That paperclip really is evil, especially when it taps on the screen at you. *shudders*

You wrote a little fic for me! Thank you! Write more? *g*

you're welcome!

if you provide me with the inspiration... *eg*

Hee! I don't know about more misadventures, but I can chuck some random ideas at you and see what happens.

Crowley and Aziraphale in space!
Crowley wakes up next to George Bush
Crowley and Aziraphale as inanimate objects...

I'm not sure what prompted the second one ::pouts::
the saddest thing is that if I allowed my brain to take that path, some ideas would come up... but the very first mental image was of Crowley jumping three feet in the air and fleeing the room in horror...
today I realized that somehow Aziraphale must have been responsible for this and it has almost become a plot bunny... nooo, what have you done to me?!
*grins*
