louiseluxTrains were all delayed tonight due to the hot weather - there was a danger that the tracks might buckle in the heat. So, my journey home took 3 hours instead of 1.5. I sat next to annoying headphones man and wrote some gay porn. It helped.

Date: 2003-08-04 02:09 pm (UTC)As ever, my Tube home was too crowded to write, but at least tonight there was no 'person on the line' or 'unsafe thing at Southgate' both of which we've had in the past fortnight.
Cryptic station guys had just written "PL > np" on the 'hi-tech' whiteboard. It took me to the bottom of the escalator to get "Piccadilly Line > no problems".
Ick, hot though.
