What a strange world it is. Did you know that people used to be hung for watering butter? Now it's sold as a healthy alternative to actual butter, and it costs more. Healthy, right. You can just imagine the meeting; 'wait, we can add water and sell it for twice the price!' A euraka moment for the marketing boys. Anyway.

My copy of Swordspoint has finally arrived, and shortly I will go upstairs to lie on the settee and read it.

Before that I want to tell you all that I read some Swiss Toni/Arthur Weasley slash last night, and, here's the thing, it almost worked. For those of you who don't know who Swiss Toni is, he's a character from a UK comedy show, who, well, it'll take too long to explain. He's a dodgy second hand car salesman with psychological problems. The story was obviously a parody, and I think that the writer lost their nerve about half-way through though, which is a shame.

I also read a rather lovely Desert Peach/Blackadder crossover, which I liked even though I've never read 'The Desert Peach'. It's by Cerise, AKA [livejournal.com profile] lexin.

And finally, at last I wrote something for contrelamontre. The challenge this week is complimentary colours, in 90 minutes.

You know, I keep forgetting about those stories. Thank you for the kind words.
