Iced lattes and Uncle Toni

I just made myself a delicious iced latte. Here's my recipe:

1) Make a small cup of strong coffee - I used a cafetiere
2) Fill a tall glass 2/3 full of ice
3) Pour the coffee over the ice
4) Fill the glass with milk or soy/rice/other milk
5) Enjoy your nummy cool drink.

It's perfect! Not only is it the apparent life story of Uncle Toni, it has Mirka (biting her fist!) and Roger on the front. And it features Rafa!

Lost in her dreams, she did not hear the firm step of the man she was dreaming of, and gave a little cry of surprise when she found herself lifted from the seat and held in two strong arms. Her large grey eyes were still full of daydreams as they met the dark searching ones of Rafael.

"Tell me, amada, of what do you dream?" he asked huskily.

"How would you feel about a threesome with Roger?" she whispered adoringly.

Anyway! Tragically, it doesn't really say that at the end. I added that bit myself. I'm think I'm actually going to make it into a little wallet, like these ones.

That drink ... so simple and yet so yummy ... I added a shot of brandy and I used low-fat milk!

And that ... that cover OMG M&B, those were horrendous little things I thought several lifetimes ago! Heheh! but into a wallet ... that is a damned good use for them and they would be so stylish too. ^__^

Oh, brandy! That is genius. I have some bourbon actually that would be nice. A cool evening drink sitting in the garden. Perfect! I used low fat milk too - the full fat stuff just tastes too rich these days.

Charity shops are packed full of Mills and Boons. They all have awesome unlikely titles that I just love.

LOL I love your Mills and Boon romance excerpt. (Is that what they are in England? Or do you have Harlequins there as well?) IF ONLY those books featured a zesty threesome.

The titles nowadays are horrific. Or awesome. But nothing so staid as The Spanish Uncle. Nowadays it would be The Spanish Uncle's Mysterious Lover's Mistress.

So true about the titles. They make me laugh so much. The Spanish Uncle actually does sound quite respectable these days.
