Tennis eye

We went to play tennis today and I managed to hit myself in the eye with a tennis ball, trying to be clever. It hurt quite a lot as you can imagine. Ow.

I would say it's more difficult to hit yourself in the eye than not to hit yourself in the eye. That is, you're terribly skilled. Hope you find some confort in it for your obvious hurt.

You're right! It would've been far easier not to hit myself in the eye - I do take a smidgen of comfort from my own clear genius with a tennis ball.
