Guys! Guess what? I found another copy of Sherlock Holmes and the Choked Chicken!

Yes! Imagine my cries of joy as I fell on it. This is a pic of the previous wallet I made from it, but I'm going to make this new one up tomorrow, except with a slightly different lining. I've also altered the wallet lining design so that now it has a large pocket at the back like a proper wallet, for bank notes. I'm feeling pretty chuffed about that. It's fiddly as hell.

The pic links to my Etsy shop.

I've also been fiddling around with the dark art of bookmarks, partly because someone asked me if I made them and I was all: 'No?' So I ordered some of those cool giant paperclip type ones, and some of the shepherd's crook style ones and began to experiment a bit.

You can click on the pics to more images and info.

Those 'go away, I'm reading' ones are perfect for those twats who think someone reading a book 'is a great conversation opener!' A book is not a dog!

Haha I know. My mother did that constantly while she was here visiting a few months ago. Hello, I am reading! It means I don't want to talk, I want to read!

For me, it's people on trains. Guys who try to hit on me by talking about my book. As if I'd ever date someone who interrupted my readin' time!

Meant to tell you earlier, Mum loved her bag and says that she goes to get in touch with you to order one for a friend.

Another result! :)

I love the 'she has read too many books and it has addled her brain' bookmark!

Ohh, I love the "Go away I'm reading" paperclip bookmark and the one you put into the Moby Dick book. I'm always worried that too thick bookmarks wil damage the pages, though (when you have one of those flimsier printed books with low quality paper).

...I'll bookmark this and probably get one of those sooner or later. Few things are worse than being disturbed while reading! Especially when it's always those people who you don't want to talk to anyway (i.e. on the subway). Now, if someone really handsome would disturb me, I might make an exception... ;>

Hehe. It depends how good the book is though, right?

I'm excited to hear you'd like to buy one! I wonder if they work - I've never used one myself, and perhaps I should for testing purposes take on the tube or something.
