I've been lurking round the yuletide nominations page all afternoon. So far I've picked:

Tennis RPF (Fedal) - man I wish Fedal was a bigger fandom. *Criez*

Melusine - scary! But what the hell. I want to try writing Felix/Mildmay. If not for Yuletide then I have always got tarteaucitron's hairbrushing prompt to fall back on, by which I mean actually write.

The Bone Key - I love Monette's creepy museum, which seems a character all but itself-- except I've forgotten what it's called-- and also Kyle Murchison Booth.

Merlin RPF - is this still a small obscure fandom? I kind of have a hankering to write it.

Others-- um, I just don't know which other two obscure fandoms to pick. I don't really want to write Mary Renault, which I did do one year. Sherlock Holmes is kind of tempting. Hmm hmm. I just don't know!

i think jim has taken that day off to meet a catsitter or something, so shall i come to you? idk, i think your furniture is also in a better configuration for protracted tv watching. i can bring booze and stuff obvs.

if we are exceptionally good and brave, we could also hold off spn 5:7 and watch it together on your laptop!

(i don't know why i didn't use this icon in the first place, as it is completely irrelevant now.)

i don't know - what do you reckon - factoring in the proven physical impossibility of walking past malmaison without stopping in for a french thingummy or whatever it is. or three.

what time did i come last time? about 1:30, or something? i'm struggling to remember. maybe i can aim so that you will have had lunch and i will have had a sandwich at padd or on the train and we can move right along with the main order of business! what do you say?

also yes pls, re staying over (if that's okay with you and matt). the catsitter question is as yet unresolved, so i may need to be out from under your feet quite early on sat if jim insists that i meet her as well, but he'll let me know, i'm sure.

Yum, cocktails. I could down several right now. I think it was 1.30 last time, so we could do that again? And I will make sure to have some proper lunch to absorb the booze.

You're always welcome to stay! Matt doesn't mind anything like that, he's very accepting. Thankfully.

Sorry to hear the catsitter saga is ongoing, I hope you don't have to get up at like 8am or anything. :(
