I'm feeling the need for some writing inspiration at the moment. Leave me a prompt and I'll write something (of some length or other) to fit it. First ten prompts, please.
Fandoms are listed in my interests, but at the moment they are tennis and Saiyuki... or any other fandom you think you might be able to prod me into writing. I'm feeling semi-adventurous. A bit.
Also, it's the last day for Fedal fridge magnet fic entries. I spent most of yesterday rearranging words and scratching my head. It's such a good challenge - come and play.

"Everything's covered in blood," said Hakkai. He smiled, aware of Sanzo at his shoulder, silent and smelling bad. It had been such a nasty fight, especially for the losers. "I'm afraid."
The laundry woman peeped into the plastic bag stuffed with Sanzo's robes, hooking it open with the tip of one stumpy finger.
"Meh," she said. "What are you, butchers? It's going to be extra for the stain remover."
"We can pay," Hakkai. "Do you take credit cards?" He had it in his hand waiting. Sanzo had handed it over without a word.
"Meh," she said again, and stooped to dig around under the counter, pulling out a card swiping machine. She had eyes like chips of shiny coal pressed into dumpling dough. They fixed on Hakkai's limiters. "Don't see 'em too often. Right, this lot'll take a couple of hours."
"I want tea," Sanzo muttered. "If we're waiting."
"There's a vending machine round the back," she said.
"You're very kind," Hakkai said. Sanzo merely sighed.
Hakkai fetched the tea. They settled side by side on the hard benches and watched the great drums spin. Their clothes tumbled and sloshed in the machines. The shop was filled with their low growl.
It was warm, and the air smelled clean and fragrant with soap. Soon, Sanzo was making soft snoring sounds. He slumped, propped lightly against Hakkai's shoulder. His feet were bare - even his socks had been bloody. Hakkai sipped his tea and closed his eyes. It was good to relax for a few minutes.
"Thank you for helping me," Hakkai said, although Sanzo said nothing. "I know it's probably because of the socks, but you didn't have to come."
Sanzo snored a little louder. Hakkai smiled, and settled back on the bench to wait.

Date: 2009-08-21 09:58 pm (UTC)Hakkai smiled to his hand of cards, then place two queens down on the table in front of him. "Is he wearing something becoming?" he said.
Gojyo liked the way Hakkai disguised his voice, as if he were nagging Gojyo about ashtrays. He talked a lot like that.
"Oh yeah," Gojyo said. Sanzo's jeans clung to every slender curve of his thighs and his ass. He was bending over, digging in his pack. They pulled down at the back, showing the hollow of his spine and the smooth plane of skin just below it. "They couldn't get any tighter."
"Oh, I don't know," Hakkai said, catching his gaze. He touched Gojyo's thigh under the table, curving his palm around it. He smiled again, showing teeth. "Anything's possible. I could put them on another hot wash."

Just because I almost always see Ni topping and some kind of violence involved, I thought a little change up would be nice.

Date: 2009-08-21 11:12 pm (UTC)"Are you saying I've gone off now I'm older?"
Koumyou's laugh was full of light. He ran his hand over Nii's chest. It felt heavy. "Aha. No. Just, you know." He sounded so sweet and blushing. It was all an act. "Young men are so nice and... tight."
"Try me."
"I shall, thank you."
Koumyou was warm, weighted against him in his wide bed. His hair, falling down around them, smelled of the cut price shampoo he insisted was better than more expensive brands. His mouth was soft, his tongue driving and hungry, his body hard and powerful, his mind inscrutable. That was almost the best bit.
Through walls four feet thick, the thrum of Hyakougan Maoh's life support system was barely audible. Somewhere, it was a late summer night, rich with the fragrance of night flowers and earth warmed by the sun all day. The air was colder and deader in the lower levels of Houtou. Somewhere, in some other place, crickets were chirping.
"You're not here," Nii said, to the shade on his chest.
There was no answer, of course. He would have to leave him room and walk upstairs to glimpse the moon.

Date: 2009-08-04 12:07 pm (UTC)Playing with telophase's Cool Bits generator, which really does make story lines I would like to read ...
"The villain of this piece is a quiet, angsty boy [Hakkai - so maybe not so much with the villainy], while the hero is a traveler [Gojyo]. The plot begins with hot against-a-wall sex in a giant country mansion. The ending includes elements of sex in desperate and inappropriate situations and secrets revealed in the dark."
OR
Your narrative is about transformation. It begins in turn-of-the-century Europe. There is sensously described food and a person so reserved just the touch of a hand speaks volumes [Hakkai] who meets a person who lives on the edge of society[Gojyo]. It ends with crossdressing."

Date: 2009-08-04 12:22 pm (UTC)Um... I wrote a wild prompt over on ye old anon kink meme, but no one's (dared!) to take it up, and really, as I was writing it, I thought you could really fabulously knock this one out of the park.
Hakkai/Gojyo - intoxicated sex - 1986, a back booth of a nightclub, producer!Hakkai has his way with coked-out!male model!Gojyo
Or, if you'd rather a diff prompt:
Hakkai/Gojyo, Gojyo in shorts for a change. (Because he really does have handsome legs.)
Thank you so much!

"I can't help it if my timing's perfect," Switzerland said, thwacking the ball across the net to Spain. "It's just the way I am."
"Yeas, but the cuckoo clocks in every room – it's disturbing," said Spain, belting the ball back. "No one needs that many clocks. And all that chocolate you eat—You'd be more healthy if you stuck to seafood."
Switzerland nodded, disagreeing silently. He knew Spain had been on a very strict regime for a long time. He'd got rid of it a while back though, with the result that he was now prone to being a bit extreme, but he still had a lot of old habits from that time. For one thing, he could be a little narrow minded, Switzerland thought. There were things he'd like to say to Spain, a lot of things, in fact. But mostly he didn't dare. Instead, he kept his distance and only chatted now and again. They didn't spend much time together, which was probably for the best.
There was also a rumour that Spain was having a little bit of trouble in the Balerics. Switzerland definitely didn't want to ask about that though – it was far too personal.
He watched Spain from the other end of the court. He looked so beautiful and healthy that it was difficult to think of him unhappy, and it made Switzerland sad to think that he had been.
But this sort of thinking was pointless and wouldn't get them anywhere. Also, two minutes had been wasted in idle daydreaming. He threw off his thoughts and tossed the ball into the sky, then hit it hard to Spain, who was waiting.

Date: 2009-08-04 11:49 pm (UTC)Cho Hakkai is a single-minded, driven, anti-social and widely feared rising tennis star, who seems to have come from nowhere and is now annihilating his opponents on the courts. Sha Gojyo is a sports reporter who drinks a bit too much and laughs a bit too loud, and never talks about his own once-bright tennis career, aborted abruptly years back for reasons nobody ever quite understood.
Nobody has seen Gojyo with a racket in his hand since that day when he threw the final match at Wimbledon and walked off the court. But now, Japan's new rising star challenges him to a public match...
(It works so well in my head, somehow. But that may just be the very late hour. *g* I should get some sleep...)
