Roger won the French Open! Omg. Amazing! He now has a career slam and has equalled Pete Sampras's record of 14 slams. He's fought for this so hard, after struggling and tears and hideous crushing losses and playing like a mook over the last twelve months. He beat Robin Sodapop of Sweden in straight sets 61 76 64.

Shine on, Rogelio.

That was awesome. Very happy for Roger because this was huge. Very disappointed about Rafa (I'm Spanish, I can't help it) but if he was out of the picture then it had to be Federer.

IT WAS GLORIOUS, even if I was just listening to the audiostream on the French Open site, I was seriously just sitting there in tense anticipation, and AHHH HE FINALLY MADE IT ♥ I loved how the commentators were all "oh look, normally the winners set their trophies down for a moment, but Federer seems to still be clutching it to himself tightly" during the victory ceremony and speeches lolol ♥

It was so sweet that they had Agassi there to give him the cup, with Agassi knowing exactly how it feels to bag that last one :-)

That last game was really tense, and I was thinking he was going to get broken. He must've been so under pressure, it's incredible he managed it so well.
