Blergh, just hit the afternoon slump and my eyelids want to close. More than this, they seem to want to stick together when they've done it. I woke up at 4.30am and dozed until 6.30am, unable to get back to sleep - it was dire.

I'm back at work and actually not feeling too bad at all. The back is a bit sore, but otherwise my body is not complaining. I had an epic mauling from a heavily pregnant osteopath on Monday, went to the gym last night for some gentle cardio exercise, got Mr Lux to slather me in Deep Heat afterwards.

I asked the heavily pregnant osteopath: "Is it difficult for you like this?" Because I thought is must be uncomfortable for her.

She gave me a terse little smile and said, mysteriously: "It gets harder."

She didn't seem to have any difficulty bending me about though, but she failed to get my spine to go pop in that satisfying way it does. I have a stiff mid spine and mysteriously sore ribs.

Take care ... *hands over more deep heat* ... maybe tuck yourself early into bed with hot water bottle tonight and just rest, I hope that you have a restful sleep tonight then!
