Anyone else have a problem with the narrowness of Converse? My feet are just too wide, so I can't wear them, which makes me sad because I love them. But I found something similar today! They're really cute and I love looking down at my feet in them.

Also, my nose and feet are cold. It's bitter and raining outside, with snow forecast later. Licorice tea is needed, and a hot water bottle refill. Brrrr.

There's tennis on my laptop; Feli Lopez and his shorts against Andy Roddick. Yay! In Paris, they introduce the players with dramatic spotlights and music. In the match just finished, Novak Djokovic made his entrance wearing a cheap Zorro mask. Hehe, the commentators just described Feli as the 'fashion guru' on tour. If the fashion is super tight shorts. They go on to mention that Andy Roddick's serve is his 'big, big weapon'. They make it too easy.

Ahhh ... the tragedy of wide feet. I also have this issue.

Re Roddick's serve: >snerfle!<

'He's dominating out there' they just informed us.

A lot of shoe manufacturers don't seem to cater for people with wide feet, it's depressing.

Are your feet long enough that you could wear men's for styles like those sneaks? That's what I do for things like sports sandals and hiking boots.

Weirdly enough, a couple of brands of shoes (including Beautifeel and Naot, both from Israel, of all places) fit me without the company's claiming them to be wide. Otherwise I have to resort to brands that carry wides, like Clark's and Hush Puppies ... mostly for my "lady shoes" for funerals and weddings and job interviews and such.

My problem is the opposite. I wear double or triple A width shoes. Since the average width is a B, my feet kinda swim around.

You could help him with his uncomfortable-looking shorts. I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

My feet are wide as well - but I don't care and wear them till they fall apart. Guh. ;)

I have a similar problem, except my feet are wide at the toes particularly. Asics run wide for actual proper running shoes, and I currently have apair of Campers for Kids (which go up to adult size 4, for some reason) as my general shoes, which is working out well.

Very cute!

I have an odd fit problem myself -- so far as width goes, my feet fall well enough in the "average" sizes, but apparently I have an unusually high instep, so anything where the uppers come up far enough over the top of the foot can be tricky to fit. And unlike width, the manufacturers don't even seem to acknowledge that feet may vary in size on the vertical axis as weell as the horizontal, so any style that comes up high enough on the foot without being adjustable can be a real crapshoot.

If the fashion is super tight shorts.

His ass has a life all of it's own. I just finished writing a rafa/roger/feli fic and in hindsight, I should have had feli face down so his backside could get the worship it deserves.

Yes Converse are narrow.

I have broad fronts as well. Out here in Asia most girls/ladies have dainty feet. Average here is between a UK size four and five.

ooh but those ... ^___^ they're really cute ... and very comfy looking!!! *hands over refilled hot water bottle*

Where did they come from / what brand are they? I have wide feet and can't find flat shoes anywhere unless they're designed for old ladies or men. It's very frustrating!

They're called 'Superdry' brand and I got them from a shop called 'Cult'. I don't know if it's a chain? But it sells like surfer type clothing.

Oh, wait, here it is: http://www.cult.co.uk/detail_view.aspx?pid=cGP3PpzC8p0MpopM

There's also another brand called PF Flyers in Schu that are quite wide fitting, but they're leather and more expensive.
