tbh if anyone can carry off all grey (plus patent leather grey manbag) it's probably rog. remember those black shorts and little black ankle socks from last year? <3333
I think the bag should still be (dark) cherry red and white, though.
First: It's patriotic. Always a plus (and an Olympic medal reminder!); also compliments American colors (so no commentator snark).
Second: It would complement the red stripes on this year's white Vapors.
(Clearly I was hot for last year's tux stripes but have redone the socks/shoes in my head a thousand times to get more "sport" but the same effect. I've settled on a white sock with a thick black top stripe and a touch more white piping on the shoe. Less mocking for "fashion over function". Just as lethal.)
Third: It would be less pretentious. It wouldn't scream PRADA MADE THIS (which is something all Leos have to watch out for. I'm sure he hates fending off snark over his outfits - less energy to be spent vanquishing dark horses in his draw quarter. I've often wondered whether a different bag would have made a difference to the Wimbledon final -- not that Rafa was not magnificent).
Oh, look. A book. No, I'm certainly not obsessed. Whyever would you ask?
P.S. Does anyone else love that his shoes are called "Vapors"? Because he will be the Ninja Ghost Superhero? And because that is what he gives us? :D
