Recently I saw a young woman wearing trousers that had 'NOXIOUS' printed across her backside. Maybe it was a public health warning, I don't know, but people, please consult your dictionary before buying garments with big words on!

okay i would like to point out big printed words of any sort shouldn't be across anything. I actually saw a child with Hussy across her butt. I wanted to find her parent and brand STUPID across their foreheads.

Hmmmm. On holiday recently, I saw "Gold-Digga" printed across a pair of (ultra tight) jeans being worn by a young girl who looked to be about 12, under all the Rimmel and Max Factor. And she did indeed drip with gold from every ear, lip and eyebrow.

Well, in some ways, it is good to hear that this is not just an issue in the US. Actually, I had thought it was an issue in the particular area of the US where I live, at that.

I agree with Therhoda, I can't imagine why a parent would allow their child to roam around with sexually suggestive stuff on their butt. WTF.

There's a cyclist I come across in my biweekly commute sometimes, who has the words "Back Off" and something in very tiny letters, plastered in white on the black arse of her bicycle pants. I'm just not that interested in ogling her bum to find out what the rest says and, besides, I doubt I could read it without causing a major accident.

At least noxious is only two syllables. And there's something to be said for truth in advertising.
