I think I need some Always Calm spray. In a big bottle. I can spray it all over myself before I go to work thus enabling myself to cope with my team leadering angst, which I feel very keenly at the moment.

In other news, I have done two [livejournal.com profile] springkink stories, and have come up with an idea for a third. The fourth languishes. The highwayman Saiuki AU has turned into a 38 page epic, featuring wilfull misuse of cravats, etc.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] jamjar pointed me at goodreads, so I got an account, here.

It's different to librarything, with the emphasis on having a friendslist and sharing reviews, where librarything seems more about cataloguing and listing.

Ooooh, more smelly stuff. *Quickly hits the back button before I succumb*

Booo on the team leader stuff. Booo wirk.

I finally got your chocolate and Tenpou essence in the mail! I think, er, you may be pleased about another surprise in there relating to a current WIP. *Looks shifty* Our postal system changes regs and is now insane, so it took me some time to get the right paperwork.

Mmmmm, cravats.....

Muahahaha.

But of course! BPAL makes a scent called Dragon's Hide. "Flame-kissed, warm, smooth, and highly protective. Dragon’s blood, leather and a hint of smoke." I sent her an imp. I feel strongly that it is Tenpou InnaBottle.

Ah, I thought it would be BPAL, though I guessed at Miskatonic University :)

Dragon's blood always smells like bitter marmalade to me. Now, Tenpou & toast & marmalade - *that's* a nice thought!

My own book stuff, that you may or may not find helpful:

Slashy Books I've Read (http://viridian.shriftweb.org/slashybooks.htm), for if you're looking for something with m/m or f/f

Books I've reviewed on LiveJournal (http://viridian5.livejournal.com/tag/books). In some cases I talk about them more in the comments. I've tagged all the way to years back.

Yay for willful misuse of cravats!

Thanks!

How I was brought into online slash: In college I would lend a friend favorite books, and she noticed that the majority of them had m/m. Not that she minded. In 1997, when she found out that I had achieved internet, she sent me the URL for the main X-Files Mulder/Krycek archive, figuring that it would be right up my alley. And thus was my slash career born.
