5 years and 5 (okay 7) fics I love

I've been on lj for five years, as of yesterday. It was because of HP fandom and the person I got an invite from (back in the days when you needed one)
mapletide, isn't on my flist anymore, although I think they are still writing HP fic
daegaer tagged me to do the meme where you pick five stories of your own that you love, never mind thinking that they're your best stories, so I've tried to do that. I think I do love all these, for different reasons. There are stories that I've missed out that I suddenly want to include, like stripper!gojyo, but if I include that I'll want to include other things and I have to stop somewhere. Maybe these are the ones I love this afternoon.
Flowers of Earth Good Omens, Crowely/Aziraphale. The first GO story I wrote and it was a way of compressing everything I felt about that pairing into 500 words.
Something Strange. Because I adore the mystery of Gojyo's kappa heritage and also the story progression and Hakkai listening to Gojyo's voice at night.
After Midnight, Under the Trees. Saiyuki, Hakkai/Gojyo. Feeling my way around the characters for nearly the first time and enjoying it very much.
Soapland. Saiyuki AU, Hakkai/Gojyo. I love the atmosphere in this story and again, being able to write from Hakkai's POV, because he can always be a little crazy.
Weapon of Choice. Saiyuki. Gojyo gets his weapon out for Hakkai. I managed not to make the story a cheap joke, but rather got something quite intense about Hakkai and Gojyo and violence and probably sex too.
One Summer. Saiyuki AU. British teenagers abroad. Hee.

The intensity between them just from small gestures or what they didn't say. *purrr* Yeah, this one is one of my absolute favorites that you've written, and I still read it.
And then, One Summer absolutely rocks. It's quite clever, and I am thoroughly amused at how you can make all four of their personalities shine through in such a modern AU. (*grin* We should paint it white. That line still gives me such a lovely feeling.)
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now. Congrats on five years here on LJ!! (I'm only a year now... so I'm pretty junior compared to you! ^___^)

Also, thanks! Hee, junior. For some reason that amuses me. :D Five years seems to have gone pretty quick I must say. In that time I've mainly been in three fandoms: HP, Good Omens and Saiyuki.
