I want to whine, because there is not much Saiyuki fic about these days, and woe. Sadness. It seems like that anyway. And what is there I can do about it? Nothing, except write some. Or, what about some sort of fic challenge? I don't know. I'm tempted to turn this timestamp meme upside down and ask you what happens 10 years from now in Saiyuki. In fic form, obviously. Like, maybe Hakkai would have married his indestructible Gojyo wife. Or the journey west would still be going on, or be long over. And what did happen to that big lump Gyumaoh, anyway?

Well, hmm. For now, I'll distract myself this way:

It does seem like there's been a dearth of Saiyuki fic lately! Woe indeed. I am still plodding along with several fics of my own, though, so I'm hoping that if I keep writing Saiyuki fic it will magically induce others to do so. Possibly good karma or something, I don't know. I haven't really thought it out logically. XD

I can't think of anything to request, but I will be very happy to see the results of other people's requests!

If I thought I could do justice to anything you'd ever written, I'd take that challenge!

However, I would irrevocably ruin all your fine, fine words, so instead I'm timestamping either Batsmut or Soapland! take your pick. Batsmut finished up really nicely, but a 5 or 10 years later thing would be awesome. Of course, because I'm shameless and greedy and can't pick, a month (week?) or two later in Soapland would be equally magnificent.
