I've made a completely fresh start on the hat story, and feel much better for it. I have a habit of writing scenes and bit and pieces, then getting lost and confused. I lose the original view I had of the story. I think this is all down to bad writing habits. To counteract the confusion I've recently started labelling and numbering scenes, adding comments about where they are to go, so I don't forget. Typing things up quickly helps too, as it helps to make a more coherent whole, rather than a mass of disorganised pages.

Sounding promising! I look forward to reading it. :-) I wish I could get into the right headspace to sort out all my story notes and get cracking, too. Maybe next week...
