Me, live from my sofa
Aug. 31st, 2006 12:46 pmSeeing as how I can't type much, I recorded some voice posts using my trusty (by which I mean aged) headset.
emungere swears that I do not sound like a chipmunk in these... although when I played them back on my pc they played at double speed. Er, lets see what happens. They're small .wav files, via yousendit:

This is quite rational; they're clunky and, at leat the one I used, give the impression of having been made in a shed for a school project. But functionally they are the most comfortable keyboard I've used.
Can be hired by the week and good candidates for DDA grants for employers.

And your vice posts sound fine. Though no one ever sounds as I expect.

Date: 2006-09-01 01:49 pm (UTC)It probably wasn't so much of a shock for me since I'd been showing it to students for several years. There was a strong need to learn as I couldn't get both hands on a normal keyboard at once. And the point of honour to show that, yes, it really was a help if you had restricted movement, after assuring others of this without ever needing it myself.
Actually you sound very much as I do when I hear myself recorded. That always surprises me too.
