In other news

The doctor said I had tendonitis. Which sucks. I am trying to rest my arms, but that means actually not doing anything at all that involves hands. Oh god. So far today I have watched five episodes of Firefly and been out to buy a wrist splint and ibuprofen gel. The wrist splints make my arms feel bionic and impervious, but I am wary of letting it go to my head. The light on the edge of my dark cloud is BSG season 2, which arrived today.

... I think I'll try a very small amount of writing and see how it feels.

Tendonitis really sucks. I've had it in my knee and they did something called iontophoresis and it really helped; they put a patch of antiinflamatory med on the joint with this super fancy circuit and blinky light. Don't know if they do that with arms, but worth asking about. It cut down the pain faster than anything. Hope you feel better soon!
