It seems like ages since I posted about anything but frogs.

Number one question to ask [livejournal.com profile] daegaer while drunk: 'so, where does god come from, then?' The answer is great! If I only could remember it now. She should write a book about that. [livejournal.com profile] yami_tai and her partner came over for dinner last night and I did not forget to put the goats cheese in the goats cheese bake. Hurray! It was a very lovely evening indeed.

We are going to York tomorrow for the squee fest. I'm looking forward to it, although am not looking forward to the journey much. Virgin trains and hot sunny days do not go well together. I have packed, if by packing I mean having some clothing scattered about near my bag.

In other news, I read Antique Bakery volume 4 omg. *clutches it to breast* There are no words for how much I love this series.

Tachibana suffers so much arrrgghh!! Poor man, and even Chikage leaves him, even if it is to just move in next door. Everyone finds a little bit of happiness, which I am pleased about, even if it just acceptance and that things from the past can really never be fixed. And did it seem to anyone else that at the end it is like Ono and Tachibana are having a strange little honeymoon together... starting again. I think Ono only loved the idea of Tachibana, back in school - he didn't know him at all. He knows Tachibana far better now than he ever did then, but isn't in love with him now, it seems like.

I wonder how much Ono's demonic charm actually prevents him from getting close to people. He always seems to be holding something back. He doesn't fall in love with people - maybe he is never given the chance to fall in love on his own terms. Tachibana could be the person he could do that with, maybe. Or is that just wishful thinking? But it does seem like Tachibana has been fixated on Ono for years-- and I think tells him as much, too. 'It wasn't what I wanted to say'. Oh, Tachibana.

I read Antique Bakery vol.4 three times in a row because I just couldn't get enough of Tachibana and Ono in this volume. Waaiiii~~

I love how throughout Tachibana struggles to come into terms with the kidnapping and killings of the boys, he keep having flashbacks regarding Ono. Discussing Ono with his friends. Rejecting Ono and regretting it afterward. <3 <3 <3 Which I think totally agrees with the theory of Tachibana fixation with Ono through the years.

I know Yoshinaga Fumi had one doujinshi on Chikage x Tachibana. Now all I need is for her to draw a Tachibana x Ono or even a threesome doujin and I can die happy. :)

I think that at the moment of rejecting Ono, Tachibana didn't want to. Perhaps he even thought he was protecting Ono from men, somehow-- trying to put him off men by being so offensive? He defintely has a flashback to his kidnapping at that moment. It's so wonderfully done. Poor them.

I dearly hope she does do another doujinshi - I was said to see this end.
