Oh the tragedy of a paid account expiring. I can't decide to renew or not, because I hardly use any of the snazzy features, but the balance is tipping towards 30 icons instead of a paltry 6. Talking of which, why haven't I got an Antique Bakery icon yet? I must be mad.

Oh bumholes, I just noticed that I can't use my galleries, so it's yes.

In other news, Hakkai and Gojyo appear in the new chapter of Wild Adapter, Dice 34. No, they really do! They really really do. I have no idea what they're saying, but they appear to be working as Mr Sanada's heavies. There is also very pretty full colour Tokitoh-and-Kubota-in-bandages art.

And and, in this month's chapter of Even a Worm up at [livejournal.com profile] radiofreebanri... Hakkai and Gojyo are snuggling up in bed together yayyy! Well, okay, not snuggling exactly, but I bet they were just before Hakkai wakes up.

Also, what a weird chapter. The village with the born-again youkai was very odd. So, the minus wave madness passes after a time and then they return to sanity? A human-eating form of sanity. Cleary, not understanding Japanese is a massive drawback, but things in this chapter just seem a tiny bit random. I'm having a slight sense of anti climax after the big fight.

But at least now we know why Sanzo left them behind - he must've had his suspicions that Hazel could lead him to whoever attacked Goku. Also, we already know he expects the others to be able to look after themselves (and each other?).

I loved Gojyo and Hakkai in the latest Even a Worm. And the way Hazel is still trying so very hard to get in Sanzo's knickers. Can't fault the guy for trying...

And Gojyo and Hakkai in Wild Adapter!! Squeeeee!!!

Ah, Minekura. You know us so well. *happy sigh*

She toys with us!

Hazel is so funny - he seems so self obsessed and sort of naive. But he clearly wants to see Sanzo's underwear. Maybe Sanzo will show him one day? We can only hope...

I don't think it's sanity, at least not from a human perspective. Rather it's the fact that the Minus Wave is creating a "consensual reality" that is different from the standardly accepted (ie human) one. At some point, that consensual reality is going to reach critical mass, and *become* reality, replacing the existing status quo.

That is, when enough people (human or youkai) believe in the reality the Minus Wave is creating (that youkai are human eaters and humans are prey), then reality as it *was* will simply cease to exist because everyone will be believing the new reality.

Or, at least, that's my (and [livejournal.com profile] kintail's) theory. More or less.

...because it will be the new reality. Yes. Interesting idea! Does this mean the ikkou will have to go on killing every youkai they meet, to stop them being reborn? Or will they just decice to become vegetarian? *g* And you have to wonder, was this really an intended part of the Minus Wave plan, or has it got out control?

That is an interesting theory. Huh.
