Where did we meet: Somewhere vaguely literary, in a cloud of ones and zeros. You were signing your latest work of erotica, I was pretending to be utterly disinterested, but having difficulty owing to the fact that drool was pooling on the page I couldn't stop reading.

How long have you known me: Not nearly as long as it seems, but not yet long enough.

How well do you know me: I would like to say I know you better than I know my cousin's ex-wife's former college roommate, but that might sound overly familiar of me. So I'll say instead that I know you well enough to keep reading, or to lend a cup of sugar, but not so well as to ask you to watch my cats (owing to the fact that the international flight required to bring you within watching distance of them is really more than I feel I've any right to demand).
