There are no trains north of Oxford this morning, which is very useful for a Monday. Getting to work would involve getting an emergency bus from Oxford to Banbury and getting a random connection there. Sorry, but no. I have experience with Oxford station's emergency bus planning and it is not a happy tale. I get to work at home, which is good, but feel guilty about it, which isn't. I'm sure I'll get over it though!

I've been in Oxford once, on a trip my mom and I took, and my only experience with the bus station is that the best sandwiches we ate on the entire trip were inexplicably from the sandwich place in the bus station. This was back in 2003; no telling if the place is still there or has the same owners or anything. :)

Do you remember what the name of the place is? I'll be studying there for awhile next year, and--short of looking the wrong way crossing the street and getting hit by a bus--I'll probably have to eat. *G*

I've even learned to say "in Oxford" rather than "at Oxford," after I caused the premature deaths of several of the Real British (TM) program representatives. XD;;

Unfortunately, no. But it was right near a sort of convenience store, and I think at the time it was the only sandwich shop in the station area.
