louiseluxThe conference I went to today was excellent. Apart from enjoying amusing and interesting speakers and practising the mystical art of 'networking', I met a very courteous elderly gentleman who manufactured carpets and had eyebrows that twizzled into peaks like a student craft textiles project, and, well, it's always interesting to me to know how things are made and until today I knew nothing about carpet manufacturing. It sounds comically dull put like that, but really it wasn't.
They served terrible coffee and it gave me a little burst of anxiety mid-morning and has left me with a pain above one eye. Ow. Good things: it was in the Botanical gardens, which are extremely pretty, and there were white frozen trees across most of Oxfordshire this morning.
Also, I realised last night that House is just as manipulative and crazed about Stacy as Cameron was about him in series one. Also, Chase is pretty.
