"Angel, if you don't stop pulling my hair, I'm going to bite your fingers off."

"Don't be such a baby. I always assumed you liked it rough."

Crowley froze, but only just long enough for Aziraphale to bite his earlobe. "What do you mean you always assumed?"

"Just a thought." The angel traced Crowley's lower lip with a finger. "Well?"

"Well what?"

"I thought you were a demon of your word."

This wasn't fair. While Crowley was a demon of his word, he had no intention of mauling anyone at the moment. He hadn't done any proper mauling for years, and he wasn't the one pulling hair and biting. Not that he particularly wanted the biting to stop. "I wasn't actually going to--"

"You're not going to get soppy on me, are you?"

It wasn't the first time that Crowley had heard that in the bedroom, but it had always been in a joking, playful sort of tone. Aziraphale sounded completely serious, even though his hand had wandered down Crowley's jaw and seemed to be heading for his left nipple. "No," he said. "What do you take me for? And if you say your bitch, you can walk home."

"I'm not familiar with that term," said Aziraphale.

"Walk--ah!--walking?"

"Now you're just being nasty. You know I've never done anything like this before."

"I don't believe you." Crowley closed his eyes. "I really don't believe you."

"I didn't think you would."

Crowley, who was completely in control of himself and not about to get soppy--or at least not openly soppy--let himself be pushed onto his back.

"Don't worry, dear," said Aziraphale who looked like he was enjoying this far too much. "I'll try to be gentle."

"I thought I'd be saying that to you."

"Well, that's why you shouldn't assume."
