I don't know if you're familiar with the Manolo (http://shoeblogs.com/), but one of his - is it pretentious to say signature statements? Well, I'm talking about a shoe blog, so I'm damned well going to be pretentious - signature statements is, "The Hasselhoff, he is comfortable in his celebrity (http://manoloshoes.blogspot.com/2004/12/hasselhoff_09.html)."

I force Manolo down Best Beloved's throat from time to time - god, not literally. I just - I hate shoes, and wearing them, and god knows shopping for them, and I'm not even fond of overuse of articles, but I love Manolo. So the first thing I said when I saw this picture was, "Come here. You have to see this." And then, while BB was gazing at the screen in horror, I said, "The Hasselhoff, he is comfortable in his bestiality."

And then I was sorry. But it was too late. I was already destined for hell, and very likely on Santa's Bad List, too.
