I left work early, thinking there might be chaos at Birmingham New Street, but it was okay, only the Euston trains were cancelled, and now I'm home. Reading station was packed with people, tv crews outside. Lots of people commute from here to London. I just watched Tony Blair's speech - he looked absolutley shattered. M is at work - we haven't heard from his sister yet. It's not too likely she was on any of those trains this morning. But. It'd be good to know for sure. ETA: she's okay.

The train home was so quiet, except for a connecting door that would swing open every few minutes with a loud bang, making everyone jump each time. Someone stole all the joy from life today.

I think I'll go swimming and then do some writing. Eat some soup, tidy up-- normal things. I feel so strange.

I know what you mean. I was okay at work but now I'm home, and all the drive back I was thinking about how every day we go out on our usual journeys and never imagine...

Normal things is wise, I think. Let it settle. ::hugs::

It's hard but yeah, normality returns and we carry on, I suppose. *hugs*
