I went mad in H & M and bought some thong underwear for the first time in my life. It's really uncomfortable! Why did I think it would be a good idea? It's possible I'm entering my mid-life crisis.
Hehe, I've got exactly two of those cursed things, for the rare occasion that I wear something that looks stupid with normal panties. But. Uncomfortable. x_x (Besides the sad fact that I don't have the ass to make it look good.. but can't blame that on the thong, ne? XD). I can't understand how people wear them everyday.
They seem conceptually really wrong to me. I got given a pair once, by a family member for x-mas (don't ask me...) and you're right, they are hellish. I suppose some people are just used to them, but i can't imagine wearing them long enough to become accustomed. I have a low intolerance for intrusive things.
I have a whole bunch of thongs. They can be uncomfortable, but they're great under skimpy or tight clothes, and totally eliminate the possibility of the dreaded panty lines. They do take some getting used to, though. The first time I tried a pair on, my reaction was pretty much UNDERWEAR UP MY ASS WTF!?! *snickers* I still wear them sometimes, though. Beauty is pain, I suppose. And as long as they're 100% cotton, they're not too bad.
