Tuesday, brain meme
May. 3rd, 2005 12:59 pmThe important thing we know about the world before shoes were invented is that it was such that the invention of shoes was necessary.
I've had this thought going round my head all weekend. It's not my own, but a fragment of someone's explanation of why people do things. Often there's a very good reason, and it's usually to do with making life easier and more pleasant. These are not bad reason for doing things. I don't know where this thought is going, but I like it. I think.
I got to sleep at 2.30 last night and now I'm really tired and I'm supposed to be gathering my wits together to write a coherent report for my meeting in Lancaster on Thursday. Fuck. *panics*
Anyway, that brain meme

| Your brain: 60% interpersonal, 140% visual, 140% verbal, and 60% mathematical! |
| Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers. Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:
