Sorry this one took so long, cygny!  Here's your Aya/Schuldig squee

Aya/Schuldig

Never let it be said that I didn't have a thing for red hair. All right, so Schuldig's and Aya's hair are two shades of red that clash horribly, but what the hell.

Ah, the raving pain and angst and mutual destruction that is Aya/Schuldig. For the ultimate in angst you really don't need to go much further than these two. There's something so gut-wrenching about pairing them together because it's something that can only end in major fucked-up-ness. And yet-- there's something cathartic about that - to just go with it and revel in the insanity. Just like Schuldig does. Actually, there's a case for saying he's not crazy at all. Schuldig has boundaries and has respect for (certain) people and knows how to behave in different situations. He's not raving, just very scary. Aya, despite the awesome katana skills, is at heart a (very)  kicked puppy who's desperate for some attention.  He's a kid, trapped in his own obsessions. You want him to grow up, change, realise that there's more to life than revenge and slicing people up for pay. Does he ever take a look at the people around him?  Schuldig could definitely help him out in expanding his mind. Literally. 

In their own individual ways, they're both messed up, flamboyant attention seekers  - I don't honestly know if that makes for pairing hell or heaven, but it's completely and utterly fascinating.
