A writing roundup 2004
Dec. 31st, 2004 08:21 pmHappy new year to you all!

January - Starting the year with a bang! Not really.
Harry Potter: Red is the Colour Snape/Lupin. I mean, in HP fandom, everyone has to write a Death Eater torture party story, don't they? I like this story, just because when I was writing it I was thinking of the dwarf and the red curtains in the Twin Peaks dream sequences.
February
Good Omens: Up Above the World - I mean, in GO fandom, everyone has to write a Noah story, don't they? The appalling Noah family in my attempt owe more than a little to the story of the indefatigable woodworm in A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters by Julian Barnes.
Good Omens: Smoke and Mirrors.
Night loves Day: Night & Day for
anthropomor_fic
March - a whole rash of Good Omens snippets
The New Boy
Harry Potter and the Evil Genius
Human Like You
Scrabble Night and sequel Words of Love
Shelter
Black Market
The Devil's Courtyard
Hell's Kitchen
Heavenly Messenger
Britain, 2025
April - Sailing Along - Marquis de Carabas/Jack Sparrow.
May
Harry Potter: The Thaw - remix fic. Snape/Harry.
Harry Potter: Saltwater Tides Snape/Lupin. This is about crying and Snape's nickname 'Snivellus'. I'm very fond of this story.
June
Good Omens/Star Trek TNG: Crowley/Lwaxana Troi - this story fell out of my head as I was walking to the train station one day after work. I had to fish out a pen and make notes on a reciept. It's not deathless prose or anything, but it was fun.
Harry Potter: Poltersmut!! for the divine
mctabby.
Discworld drabble: Where the Wild things Are - Granny Weatherwax.
July - Nada
August - Harry Potter: The Day Nor the Hour Remus/Kingsley Shacklebolt. Not really sure about this one, but I liked writing a different character.
September
Good Omens: Aziraphale goes shopping -
daegaer's birthday story.
Sandman/Good Omens drabbles: Sex and Death, The Tortoise
Good Omens drabbles: Rocket Man and After the End - this might be my favourite drabble this year.
October - the first line drabble meme ate our lives for a few days and this month marked some concentrated manga and anime pimpage on the part of Certain Persons.
Various fandom: six drabbles.
Good Omens: It-preg, in honour of
lovelyzelda's brain. Long may it reign.
Wesis Kreuz: Fire - Aya/Schuldig.
Weiss Keuz/Eroica drabble: Lost - Klaus/Dorian. Again - very fond of this one and want to make it longer.
Good Omens/Weiss Kreuz crossover: Suddenly One Summer - Draco/Nagi. Psycho teenage soap opera from HELL.
Good Omens: a short story about Kissing.
November - Saiyuki makes it's first appearance on my radar, aided by
permetaform 's relentless and inspiring picspam.
Good Omens/Harry Potter: The Trouble With Cats. Minerva meets Aziraphale.
Some Carpet/Vacuum lovin' for
anthropomor_fic.
Saiyuki drabbles: Clean, Hunger, Song Titles, Home.
Saiyuk: Sleepless and After Midnight, Under the Trees- both Hakkai/Gojyo.
December - It's still a sekrit. There would be more, but this month is always so busy. I have such a lot to get out of my head, fic wise, for Saiyuki.
Total No. of Stories: 24
Total No. of Essays: zilch
Total No. of Drabbles: 16
Total No. of Fandoms: 9

Date: 2005-01-01 01:00 pm (UTC)It's quite interesting laying it out month by month - I spent most of this year thinking I wasn't writing much - guess I was wrong!
