My week so far

Anyway, in between reading gay porn (MJJ, Saiyuki, here), drinking enough alcohol to fill a large bathtub and spamming mistressrenet with the Scissor Sisters I have managed to do exactly nil writing so far this week. I did do rather well in the sales though, with two skirts, a good wool coat and a pair of impractical corduroy shoes with diamante buckles that will inevitably tarnish. Such is life.  John Lewis is selling its Ginger and Cypress Body Soufflé at half price! It doesn't look much like a soufflé to me though, more like a tub of goo.

Incidentally, MJJ has a story she calls 'A Midsummer's Night's Dream set in Saiyuki-land' - Four Quarters. It's really something, one of those stories where everyone sleeps with everyone else. Very hard to carry off, but she does it wonderfully well.

As an aside, who amongst us can honestly say, when confronted with a picture of Sean Bean, that they don't get to the urge to cry Seaaan Beaaan very loudly and in a yearning tone of voice? Well, all right, perhaps not everyone, but you get my general state of mind when confronted with SB. Gosh this post is random. To be honest, it's only recently that the SB obsession has happened. I didn't used to have a thing for him, but he sort of grew on me - I blame Peter Jackson, really. And all despite of Boromir's bloody appalling facial hair.
