The yuletide story is done and only needs the simple addition of a title. Past experience tells me this could take up a whole days worth of desperately racking my brains.

Parcels were sent last week. All the Christmas cards have now been written and posted, the majority of presents bought.  One set of parents have been successfully visited.

The house is a complete tip and I have no clean clothes. Bum.

Edited to add: OMFG - saw a big green and yellow parakeet living wild in M's parents garden! Remember, this is Surrey, England. Parakeet free zone until recently, at least ones that live wild. Apparently there's a flock of about 12 of them in that area. It was feeding from the nut bag. All the other birds were acting cool about it, but the squirrel seemed freaked out. The humans were gaping at the window, squeaking with excitement.

Steal some off your neighbors' clothesline?

I'm sure they wouldn't mind, although I might mind wearing their clothes - they're both in their 70's!

Tomorrow I will simply have to smell.

I have heard about the parakeet phenomenon. Am I likely to witness it in Oxford or London?

London, maybe, depending where you are. Not sure about Oxford - you're more likely to see Red Kites cicling on the updrafts in the countryside around there.

Pick a color. Name your story that. Refuse to explain.

I like it - simple, effective, mysterious!

Exactly! And colors are great mood-setters.
