Saiyuki Vol 6 and a Samurai Champloo rec
Jan. 10th, 2005 10:52 pmSekrit message for
mistressrenet: Gojyo's stomach is no longer taught. Well, I didn't spot it either.
Tomorrow is what Tokyopop calls the 'street date' for Saiyuki vol 6!! There's no telling if that means it'll be in Reading anytime soon, but still, major excitement and oodles of pleasure at the thought of owning it. I'm so looking forward to the meaningful touching that Hakkai and Gojyo do in it - when Gojyo puts his hand over Hakkai's to take over the driving, well, it's almost... manly. (For a quick recap on the exact meaning of manly in this context, crossreference
daegaer, G Manville Fenn and gay Victorian soldiers)
In other news, if you've seen Samurai Champloo, why not go over to
emungere's journal and obsess over the only Samurai Champloo smut in existence (if there's more, I'd love to know), like me: Bruised, NC17, Jin/Mugen.
Open Water, the film about being in abandoned in the sea, is absolutely terrifying. Am never going anywhere by boat ever again and certainly not diving.
