Okay, you people have been keeping me busy *g* I'm thinking these might load a bit slowly.

[livejournal.com profile] tboy wanted to see:

As you can see, I'm a Clinique fetishist. What? They give away boxes of freebies so regularly that nearly everything I own is now Clinique, apart from No7 blusher, the colourless mascara and  the Nivea cherry lipbalm. I use the 'Aussie' shampoo brand for my hair, although I don't think it's made in Australia, but somewhere like Dagenham.

My display of melamine. This is the place where I keep most of my melamine, apart from the really big sets, which are in boxes in the cupboard. 'Eclectic' is the word I like to use for this arrangement. 'A mess' might be more appropriate. I love the bright plastickyness of it but also the lovely curvaceous shapes that came out in the 50s and 60s, which were done in more subtle colours. At the top left are some blue and green teacups - the first melamine I ever bought. That was in 1996, from a jumble sale in York.

This is some of my glass - drinking glasses mainly, although there are bowls and ashtrays and vases too. Want an ashtray?! I've got piles of them. I love every single thing on this shelf.

All of my shoes. 20 pairs!  I only wear about 5 of them with any regularity.

[livejournal.com profile] kabukivice backed up the request for shoes and added:

Feet! See, they are rather flipper-shaped and wide. They are size 5 (38)-- you can just see the remains of some ancient toenail polish.

My hand. It's a very boring sort of hand and matches my feet in its general squareness.

Thank you!

I often give the more useless freebies (does anyone *ever* use eye make-up remover?) away to family and friends - usually my mum, in fact.
