A bit late to the party for the first line meme thing so I never got round to putting my lines up, but I've had a rockin' time none the less.

For [livejournal.com profile] dorrie6 Weiss Kreuz, Crawford/Schuldig, G

He'd never felt such cold.

His mouth was full of powdery snow. A glance sideways and he saw his own hair flung out: stripes of orange on white. He wanted to die.

'Schuldig! You stupid... why?' Crawford's voice was raw and shocking in his ear-- he hadn't sensed him coming.

'It didn't work, what they did,' Schuldig managed, through ice-bitten lips. 'To my head.'

Crawford stared down, silent.

'Speak!' Schuldig gasped. 'Did they send you to kill me? I can't tell just by looking.'

'No.' Crawford touched his hair. More than he needed to know: 'You're not going to die.'

For [livejournal.com profile] notassuch Good Omens, G, Aziraphale, er, Wish Bear/Sunshine Bear.

"And thus it was that Wish Bear who is called PimpDaddy said unto Sunshine Bear: Lo! You are pumping too quickly!"

Aziraphale was always happy to examine any modern translations, but he now closed the very newest of his Bibles with a resounding snap.

Angels don't need to feel shame, although some of them have learned to enjoy it. He went red, went pale, then reopened it and began to indulge mightily.

Days passed lost in a star-speckled, rainbow-trimmed, saccharine-bright world, but at least by the end someone got nailed to a cross, even if it was PimpDaddy.

For [livejournal.com profile] daegaer Weiss Kreuz, Schuldig, implied slash, G

Even for an accomplished telepath, Schuldig had a strong-willed personality. Though when it came to pain he was as susceptible as anyone. A big juicy dose of someone else's agony-- he went after it like a skinny, razor-clawed ginger tom after a mouse. Unless Crawford said no; if he said it long and hard enough.

Fujimiya Aya glowed with pain. He didn't bother hiding it, and that made Schuldig giddy. It poured off Aya in a scintillating cloud of good times. Crawford, for some murky, hidden reason, said not to.

But a taste wouldn't hurt.

Well, it wouldn't hurt Schuldig.

For [livejournal.com profile] musesfool Harry Potter, Neville, Harry/Ron implied, G

The daffodils are late this year, but no one mentions it except Neville. No one is interested.

Harry is late to bed at night, again and again. So is Ron. They look at each other in a new way, speechless and burning.  Neville sees, but he keeps quiet.

Snape is late to his lessons; his voice has a new tone, angrier than ever but he doesn't use it much on Neville. Neville notices.

One day Dumbledore is late. He never comes back.  Then the whole school is noticing Neville, desperate and hopeful.

Finally the daffodils bloom, nodding their yellow heads.

For [livejournal.com profile] lexin Eroica, Klaus/Dorian, mild R

There were a good many things that Major Klaus von Eberbach was prepared to do for NATO; die for it, certainly, fight for it, argue with displaced Bosnians and keep the peace between warring tribes of whatever colour.

Doing Eroica was not one of those things.  And yet.

Dorian moved underneath him and the Major could no longer truthfully say they were fighting, or that his combat training required one hand to be curved just so around Dorian's hip, or the other to be under his shirt, touching skin. Or for their lips to meet.

Yet, oddly, it seemed necessary.

For [livejournal.com profile] penknife  X-Men, Xavier/Erik, G

Xavier's office was cold. Erik's hands were chilled, frozen round the rubber handgrips of the wheelchair. They'd toured the grounds of the new school in bright winter sunshine.

Xavier's words had exploded in his head; the truths that Erik held dear were ones that Xavier simply did not believe in, had rejected. As simple and as final as a gunshot. How could he have never known, until now?

He looked down at Xavier, thinking how much he wanted to say, 'I love you. I've always loved you.' The words trembled in his throat, not to be spoken now, or ever.

Phew. Then,
