Also for jamjar, a bonus drabble, which is more rationing-oriented!



Black market

'Jam, or butter?' Aziraphale asked.

'Both. Why do you stick to rationing? I can get everything you need. What do you want? Bananas? Champagne? A new suit?'

Aziraphale was trying not to smile, Crowley could tell. 'You sound just like our local black marketeer.'

'A fine profession.'

'That's hardly morally acceptable, is it? When everyone else is going without? If they are, I will too.'

'But why? I can give you anything you want. You don't need to.'

'I do.' Aziraphale's face became expressionless as he poured weak tea and arranged the scones. 'I really do need to.'

Thank you! I'm rather enjoying writing it, I have to say, so there probably will be more. I'd like to do a longer story.
